Frequently Asked Questions

Have additional questions? Please reach out!

  • Is there a discount for enrolling two children from the same family in an after school club?
Yes! Families receive 15% off membership fees for each additional child who is also enrolled for a membership.
  • Is there a referral program if we recommend a new family to participate?
Yes! If you recommend another family who enrolls in a monthly membership, both families will receive a one time credit of $30 off for the next month’s membership.
  • What are the age ranges for eClubHouse members?
eClubHouse is currently focused on serving children ages 6-12. In the future, we may expand to serve teenagers 13-17.
  • Are eClubHouse members grouped into clubs based on their age?
Where possible, we try to group children based on similar ages.
  • What if I miss a session, can I make it up?"
Monthly membership includes 8 club sessions, unfortunately we can not refund or carry over sessions that are missed.
  • Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you cancel your membership at least a week prior to the membership starting, you can receive a full refund. If you cancel by your second club meeting, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations after the second session will not qualify for a refund. Please email support@eclub.house with additional questions.
  • Do parents or guardians need to be present during these virtual sessions?
Yes. While adults are not required to sit with the child during an eClubHouse session, they must be within range to provide support if needed. eClubHouse is not a substitute for in-person child supervision.
  • What’s the structure of each session?
eClubHouse follows a consistent schedule, including a relaxation exercise at the start, individual and group activities, academic focus time, and daily wrap ups.
  • How are coaches vetted?
Each coach goes through an interview process with eClubHouse staff, has a reference review, and goes through a third-party background check.
  • How do I submit homework or assignments that need to be complete that week?
You can submit homework assignments and notes for the coach through email (tasks@eclub.house), text (+1 650-206-9306), or through our session planner
  • Are there breaks during the session?
Yes, we carefully build in breaks and make sure that we have off-screen activities throughout each session.
  • What kind of activities will my child participate in?
Individual breaktime can consist of activities like online puzzles, games like memory cards or word scrambles, or any other activity of your choice like musical instrument practice, a favorite youtube channel or video game. Group time will incorporate some physical activities like charades or freeze dance as well as interpersonal and team building activities like scavenger hunts, trivia games or pictionary.
  • My child has a really hard time staying still, how do you plan on working around that?"
We understand every child is different, and so for those who have extra energy, we suggest periodic “wiggle breaks” which can be any form of short physical activity. 1-2 minute breaks throughout homework modules encourage movement through jumping jacks, “flashdance” or stretching to help channel extra energy in a positive and playful way.
